Due to some unforeseen fiscal and time issues and a lack of needed resources, we are forced to cancel the 2011 Wyoming Cancer Conference that was planned to be held May in Cody, WY. The Comprehensive Cancer Control Program staff will participate in planning for the spring 2012 Chronic Disease Conference and will share the great ideas and suggestions than came from our planning process toward the work of this event.

There were several events planned in conjunction with the cancer conference – the Childhood Cancer Symposium, the Quality of Life Caring for the Caregiver training as well as a networking opportunity between the Tobacco Prevention Program Managers and the WCRS project staff.   We are working with key partners and identifying possible resources to move these smaller projects forward and hope to hold these events in April 2011 in Casper. More information will be made available as plans are finalized.
