Tobacco-Free Wyoming Pledge
Stand with us today and help put an end to the epidemic that is tobacco use. Smoking accounts for at least 87% of lung cancer deaths and 30% of all cancer deaths. Tobacco is linked with increased risk of at least 15 types of cancer including: nasopharyngeal, nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses, lip, oral cavity, pharynx, larynx, lung, esophagus, pancreas, uterine, cervix, kidney, bladder, stomach and acute myeloid leukemia. Exposure to secondhand smoke significantly increases a non-smoker's risk of developing lung and other cancers in addition to other health problems such as decreased respiratory function and other respiratory diseases, eye and nasal irritation, heart disease and stroke. Add your name and join others who refuse to sit back and let this continue. Pledge your support for a Wyoming free of needless death and disease. Together, through outreach and education, we can reduce tobacco use and help save lives.
